A quick and hearty one-pot pasta dish with rich Bolognese flavors, perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped

Meat

  • 500 g beef mince (ground beef, lean)

Tomato & Broth

  • 700 g tomato passata (tomato puree)
  • 3 cups beef broth

Herbs & Spices

  • 2 tsp Italian mixed herbs
  • 0.25 tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.75 tsp pepper

Pasta

  • 350 g spaghetti, uncooked (or other pasta)

Garnish

  • Parmesan

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a large pot, cook garlic and onion for 2 minutes until translucent.
  • Add beef, cook until browned, then stir in tomato passata.
  • Pour in beef broth, add herbs, spices, tomato paste, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  • Add spaghetti, push it under the liquid, cook for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat, toss to combine, garnish with Parmesan, and serve.

Notes

Use lean beef for a healthier option and adjust chili flakes to taste for spice level.
